School closure

Dear students, dear colleagues, dear Excelia community,

The current public health situation in France has led us to take unprecedented measures for our community as a whole.

At the request of the Government, effective as of today, our Schools will close its doors to all members of our community. However, we are organising pedagogical continuity, the continuity of research activities and administrative operations, and we are putting in place an organisation that we feel is best.

Today, we have made the decision to close our campuses completely. First and foremost, our aim is to guarantee the health of everyone involved in the School community, our students and personnel. We therefore ask you all to self-isolate, and we know that each of you will comply with this period of home confinement, and do so with a great sense of responsibility.

Concerning more particularly our students, we are committed to enabling you to continue your education in appropriate and adequate conditions. We will therefore adapt your study programme to these unusual circumstances, so as not to jeopardise the validation of your qualification.

With this in mind, as of today, should you have any questions whatsoever, you should contact the following:

  • 1. Questions relating to your programme: All student services will remain contactable, preferably via email. You can therefore send any questions/queries to the usual contacts for your Programme or indeed to Student Life

  • 2. Questions relating to online teaching: please send your questions by email ONLY to the following HOTLINE address: informatique@excelia-group.com

  • 3. Questions relating to the current COVID-19 health situation: covid19@excelia-group.com

  • 4. For those of you who have expressed a wish to return to France or leave France, we ask you to check the recommendations given by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on the following website: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/. Here, you will be able to find out about the restrictions imposed on entering or being placed in quarantine in the different countries.

As far as the staff members are concerned, the majority of you will continue to telework.

I would like to sincerely thank all the teams who have been so dedicated to ensuring the best possible continuity of service. I would like to reiterate how proud I am to lead such an efficient, committed and dynamic School.

I would like to assure each and every one of you of our continued commitment to the continuity of services that we owe to our students, whilst ensuring that everyone's health remains the main priority.
My thoughts are with you all in these difficult times. Please take good care of yourselves and your families.

Together we will be able to cope with this difficult situation and I hope that it will not be long until we can get back to some sense of normality.
